Mounting Polo Radiator
Last time I looked at my mk2 polo rad. There seemed to be four mounting holes.
These were just holes in the plastic and would need self tappers, not 100% convinced, anyone got any pics of a similar install?
Cheers
Mike

There were two plastic lugs on the bottom of mine so I located these rubber gromits, mounted in a 3mm ally plate.
I used the mounting holes for the fan on one side and as bracing to the chassis on the other side.
I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

I made up a mounting plate that bolts to the rad then bolts to the car,
Rad mounting plate from bacl/bottom
There are a few other photo's in my archive. Can't say that its a tried & trusted way as I'm not on the road yet.

I mounted mine by the 4 holes. Just screwed M5 (I think) set screws in. Check the depth first and screw length and leave a bit to spare. Screw cuts
its own thread.

I used the 2 pins on the bottom into brackets on the chassis to take the weight and then fitted 2 brackets to the top tapped holes and chassis using
large self taps.
