where to buy a fuel tank

Guys, want to buy a fuel tank, but i want it a little special....

want the usual outlet at the bottom and filler on the top but..... I want a return to the top of the tank, with the fuel being taken from a surge pot at the bottom of the tank & I want the tank baffled.....

Any suggestions of where I can either buy such a tank or get one made?

Probably because you haven't asked permission, and the pictures are copyright the owner.

Typical tea-leaf

Of course it'll be retracted later....

borrowed pictures should be used only with permission of the owner. Its even more of a pish take that viper actually sells tanks too and you used his picture to sell yours. You will make few friends on here like that.

My appologies to viper. I am sure his tanks are very nice too.

The picture was mearly a reflection of the product offered for sale not the actual tank. Therefore no harm done i it was not advertising his tank.

I have posted a picture of another tank for all to see, to prove I got my camera out and did my bit. I have too say I do prefer my table though.

Whats wrong with a mobile number? It's called new technology. ShinyBitz Has a landline number it's 0115 9131858 That's were the office is at home. the workshop I rent is on a farm which has no telephone in it.

Bearings bank had a landline number!

What are you trying to say?

Have to say I agree with Syd. I am always cautious at best with companies/individuals that only supply a mobile number. If (like me) you are rarely near the landline, then give the mobile number first and emphasise that this is the one to call, but still give a landline as well.

Obviously this is not the case here, but it is not unknown for stolen goods to be sold be sellers only giving mobile numbers!

Back with fuel tanks, What thickness of ally are most peoples tanks made from?

I am contemplating getting a stainless steel tank done, but I'm worried about weight.

Mobile phone =

Diddicoy asphalters and landscapers. I've noticed a lot of them now do pvc cladding as well. I can't comment on the others but I've seen Bryn's (Allyfab) handiwork and it's good.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

ok, my requirements have changed after a mate gave me a few bits he cleared out of work.

(nice mate, works for the company that does the fuel systems for rover and the new mini!)

I've got a MGF integrated fuel pump and swirl tank and fuel level sender.......

what i need is some way of securing it in my tank! Basically i've got a pump /swirl tank on the bottom and a flat plastic but with rubber seal and two spings pushing them apart. Any suggestions on how i get this to seat in a tank? The MGF has a screw top that screws down around the top fitting.

(does this make sense to anyone?)
