B so u can fully bleed it

blakep82 - 2/10/08 at 03:25 PM

balls...

need to have a think about how this will work now, coz i won't be able to get into the bellhousing to bleed it if it points up...

if it were as in pic A, then both pipes would stick out where the clutch arm would normally go, with the bleed pipe at the top, hmm...

theconrodkid - 2/10/08 at 03:41 PM

you could have it sideways as long as the bleed nipple is on top

blakep82 - 2/10/08 at 04:17 PM

hmm, i guess if i had a normal short bleed screw on it, and a 90 degree bend on the inlet, i could almost have the bleed valve at the 10 o'clock position perhaps? would that work?

Put a remote extension on the bleed nipple and run it through a hole on top of the bell housing.

HOW MUCH ! ! !
I bought one just like that off ebay for £45 , and broke it taking the bearing off

noooooo! not the cylinder! £170 for the bellhousing! i got the cylinder MUCH cheaper than that!

Oop's
I'd go with extending the bleed nipple and sticking it through a hole in the bell-housing - having the bleed nipple on the side just wont let the air out .
