its a mondeo clutch. i don't even know how they sit in the mondeo
B, The pipes point towards about 1 oclock when sitting in the bell housing...

need to have a think about how this will work now, coz i won't be able to get into the bellhousing to bleed it if it points up...
if it were as in pic A, then both pipes would stick out where the clutch arm would normally go, with the bleed pipe at the top, hmm...
you could have it sideways as long as the bleed nipple is on top
hmm, i guess if i had a normal short bleed screw on it, and a 90 degree bend on the inlet, i could almost have the bleed valve at the 10 o'clock position perhaps? would that work?
Put a remote extension on the bleed nipple and run it through a hole on top of the bell housing.
is it ok to drill holes in? it cost me £170, i don't want to break it!

noooooo! not the cylinder! £170 for the bellhousing! i got the cylinder MUCH cheaper than that!

I'd go with extending the bleed nipple and sticking it through a hole in the bell-housing - having the bleed nipple on the side just wont let the
air out .
