I found a type 9 in a scrapyard, no idea what model it came from, it has what appears to be an electronic speedo sender in the location where the cable would normally go. The sender has 3 wires coming from it.

Does anyone know how to wire it or know what colour code on the wires is?

I'll be fitting an electronic speedo so I'd like to use it if possible.

But also you will have three wires, IIRC, Black, Brown and Yellow.
Brown should be earth. Black should be +12v supply and the Yellow should be the signal wires to the speedo head.

If anyone has one of these speedo senders going spare then please let me know - I have a box with a big gap where the sender should go!
