The biig hole in the top of the thermo housing? also the little one popping out the top/ side?

The temp sender for the ecu goes in the large hole, and the small pipe leads to the top of the header tank to vent any air.
You are using carbs so can just block the temp sensor hole.

I got one then drilled and tapped it for my Emerald Sender.
