Will the attached work
Cheers
No because your bottom header tank hose should T into the bottom Rad hose and not the heater loop..
The loop that used to be for the heater can be comnnected to it's self, but I would put some sort of restricter in as it would normally have the
heater matrix to go through.
I used a heater control valve on my K-series so that I can still adjust the flow around the loop.
crossflow plumbing

it will work, but it's not ideal.
when i had my pinto plumbed up like that, the heater circuit ended up filling the header tank up so pushing any air in it back into the radiator. not
an ideal situation, but at the same time, not catastrophic.
if you do it as nitram says, it keeps the water level in the bottle much more stable and keeps the air out of the system. i didn't have any
restricter on my bypassed heater circuit and mine was fine for a couple of thousand miles.
equally, you can just block the pipe off at the head. with my bike carbs now, i don't have the pipe so the header tank feeds straight into the
water pump. seems to be running fine and i believe it's a common thing.
