All i've just started building a locoblade, so i'll be on here getting help, has any one made a system to reverse a bike engined car, i know
there are transfter boxes with reverse in them but they're a bit too dear for me, any body got a diy method to over come this problem.

Some of the RGBers were running electric reverses a while back. Not sure if it's still common practice or not...
I think i saw an episode of scrapheap challenge ages ago where they used a starter motor to drive a car. Sureley a locost way would be to fit one to
drive it in reverse.

I will be fitting a reverse starter motor kit to my R1, but I am rear engined so I am running a chain diff.
It comes with a cog that replaces the nut that holds the final drive cog on, if that makes sense?
The starter is a solenoid driven type.
I bought a kit from lynxae.co.uk cost £320.
Not cheap, but a nice bit of kit.
