Hi peeps.
Just sorting out the heater in my car... A Porsche 911 blower, an oil cooler and some ali is coming together nicely...

Only trouble is this- how do I break into the coolant circuit?
I want to try and avoid expensive T-piece silicon hoses- the CBS bolt-in take-off pipes are an idea but has anyone any experience of using them?
Sounds like a recipe for a leak in the coolant system to me but if they've got a proven track record......

CBS made me a few of these which might be a better idea ...

Or copper plumbing part's soldered together...

You could paint or polish the part once made...

Yup... great minds think alike

I was exploring the options of getting some ali bits made up....

And I've got to go and measure the pipes I'm using from rad to the thermostat to see if copper will work....
I've found some 35mm equal T-pieces but by the time I've got one of those and some 35mm pipe etc etc... We'll see....

I have no problem with CBS products they are normally ok......but why do you need a heater?

Just extra weight and the heat just blows straight out
