I'm having a spot of bother with the vacuum pipe connections on the carburettor on my Ford 2.0 DOHC engine. Basically I am not sure where a
T-piece on the carb is supposed to be connected. The t-piece itself was broken whilst getting the engine out of the donor but I think that it is
supposed to connect to the small vacuum inlet immediately below. Take a look at the attached picture - I replaced the tee with a lenth of pipe, and
the connection I think is required is between the two ringed points. This is (I think) a Webber DGAV carb, and it has various vacuum-operated features
which I think might require this connection in order to work properly.
Can anyone cast any light on this?
Cheers

The carb is a Webber 2V TLD, according to one of my colleagues over on the Robin Hood discussion board - if that's any use.
Ya its definitely a 2v, i have the same engine. (DOHC 8v)
