Has anyone done similar to this and gone through an SVA OK, This is obviously trying to avoid the extreme prices of rimmers.
Basicaly from clutch cyl to Master
M12 Male to short peice of 3/16 copper, then to female 3/8" (or M10 which ever your fittings) then continue using flexi braided hose back to
Master cylinder

Pretty sure that SVA regs will not cover clutch so you should be OK . wait for incoming flak?
Have a word with wilkingj I'm sure I read that he did something on the same lines as to avoid Rimmers prices.

does it work ok? i think the rover uses a 5/16 pipe from master to slave but i doubt the difference would stop it working as the displacement would be the same
O/T: hehe trying to avoid the silly cost of the flywheel cover plate too i see
I managed to modify the auto one that came with my engine.

Series III landrovers have an adapator which make this conversion which bolts on to the master cylinder, costs pennies.
But then whenever you buy v8 rover look at the equivilent Landrover item to save money.

I used the M12 to 3/16" pipe adaptor from Rally Design. Then took the copper pipe to a bracket on the side of the engine mount.. There I had a
Fiesta Rear brake hose (M10 Male Both Ends) that jumped the gap to the chassis. Another bracket on the chassis (to mount the Male end of the Flexi
pipe) and some copper pipe to the master cylinder.
Its 3/16" all the way through and drives / changes gear OK, as I have been for the MoT. No problems.
Agree about Paddocks, good place for cheap Landy Bits. Rimmers are a tad expensive
Mine didn't change much from this.
It could do with tidying but was ok for test.

finally got correct hose and got it bled, works a treat, lighter than I thought it would be, had TVR few years back and you needed a strong left leg
to operate the clutch in that.
just need wheels, exhaust, and megasquirt finshing and I can then take it for a blast.........
........a few metres down the drive
