Does anyone have any pics of a pinto (ideally injected) head - inlet side where the inlet manifold bolts on?
Im getting a bike carb manifold made and just want to check where the water connection needs to be relevant to the inlet ports and studs.
Im also interested if anyone can explain what the inlet side differences are between injected and non-injected heads. Ive heard some weber manifolds
dont seal properley on injected heads due to where the injectors fit so obviously im keen to make sure the new manifold will be Ok for my head (is it
just a simple case of adding some material at certain points??)
Cheers,
Darren.

2nd pic i sjust what im after. Thanks.
Anyone know how it differs from the injection head. I dont want to take my carbs off just yet as its a pig to refill with coolant.
Cheers,
Darren.
No piccies i'm afraid, but the Injection inlet ports are oval/pear shaped.
The injectors sit in the top of this shape and spray directly onto the back of the valves so a spacer plate, needs to be made to convert this back to
the round gasket and shape a carb needs.
The Injected heads all run on Unleaded fuel as the have hardened valve seats and have better gas flow.
i can do you a piccy of the injection plenum tomorow if no-one can help before
that will sort of reverse engineer you an answer
Here is one inlet hole showing the pear shape, (its upside down btw.) it has been flowed but the outer shape is as original. You could just go and buy
an injection gasket to get the hole relationships right. dont use a ford gasket but an aftermarket one they have more spare material.

Wow sorry didn't think it was that big!

If you need any other shots from different angles, I have quite a few, from donor to strip to assembly to modded injection
