Any good?
Easy to weld a flat plate on each end and 2" id inlets.
And it's compact 180mm long by 100mm diameter.
And says jaguar on it.

ahhh now that's superb!
I don't need one, but there's lovely neat solution to the ends!
Have a look on here: you want a pair of Hygienic stainless 4"to 2" concentric reducers, they are cheap enough and will look really neat when
tigged on!
Stainless Linky
Thanks - good linky that.
But this woulod make the can longer as the 2" tails would need to be on the ends of the cones.
Will only be for SVA and then lending out so the shorter the better.
Not sure if it's mild or stainless either.
It is magnetic - does that help?
Cheers,

I think all cats are stainless, they get so hot that mild steel would rot away in no time.
Makes sense as it looks rusty, but more "tainted" on closer inspection.

Yes it is stainless, can't remember the grade off the top of my head but it is.
Cheers.
Off to see MK Engineering in the morning so will see what ends he "can" do.
If not, that linky from NS Dev it is.

Damn tasty bit of kit you've got there. I just hope that at least one part of my build ends up like that!
Not my work mind...

Maybe not, but i's still yours. No need to go telling folk that though is there? If they don't ask, let them assume it's your work.
You should see my lovely 304 stainless headers and lovely welded chassis then!

Post a pick and I/we can all admire your handy work.
Too cold to go back in the garage now!
Give me a couple of weeks to get the chassis and full cage painted and nice to look at.
