Hi folks
Started to try to piece my engine loom at the mo and I can't fathom out what the F***k these two sensors are or where they should be located on
the engine as they came separately when I bought it. Can't find them in the Haynes manual either. Any pic's would help a lot.

They're part of the MAP sensor system. The one on the right is the idle mixture adjustment, if you pop off the rubber cap it'll have a screw
for adjustment. The left hand one is the MAP sensor.
The Vacuum tubing will connect to the intake manifold, I'll have a look see where exactly. The connectors on the loom should be colour coded to
match.
Is the engine from an MR2 or Corolla?

I'm not 100% confident where the engine came from but I believe it was from an MR2 mk1. It's a Red and Black top engine. I've got the
electrical connections sorted but as I say there seem to be numerous vacuum tubes that it could go onto! Next time I'll buy an engine straight
out of a car that I distmantle myself!!!!
Vacuum tubing connects to a metal pipe that goes round the side of the intake plenum, this is then connected to a black plastic three 'port'
adaptor screwed into the side. Another tube will go from the adaptor to the fuel pressure regulator and the third 'port' is capped off.
The connectors on the loom should come off just after the fuel injector connectors (TPS connector will be at the opposite end)

rear engine bay which a vacume tube connected to the TVIS chamber

I'm at the stage of trying to come up with list of what i need for supplying fuel to my engine.
Can I ask what tank, pump/s, filter, fuel line and connections you have used and where you got them from?

I've not looked at rebuilding my engine yet or more over give it a good clean paint and service.
I'm just trying to get to a rolling chassi and want to try and get all pipes routed down the tunnel and have the fuel tank pump and filter fitted
before I put the rear diff and hub assemblies in place.
Am planning to fit an external pump. Had a look at the Mr2 one which was in the tank. I already have a tank and it seems simpler to just fit one
externally.
I am stuck with all the fittings and parts I need. There are no suppliers up here in aberdeen (as far as I am aware?) so anything I need I have to
order. Much prefer to see and handle things and choose what I want from a local supplier. But ho hum

As for hints with the instlattion of a 4AGE, I have not quite finished yet but I'm using a cavalier fuel fump (pic in my archive). You'll
need a fuel return pipe too from the engine to tank. Tank will need a swirl pot in the bottom. I've used a combination of metal and rubber fuel
pipes. Just depends upon your own kit as to where to route these. Gear box adaptor & clutch were from Raw. Exhaust will be from Luego (should
get it tomorrow). Low line plenum on order from Raw. Std one is too high.
Wiring and std ECU is my next problem to tackle - any ideas would be greatfully received!!!!
Oh, and Mec 190 rad and I intend to use the Mr2 fan switch.
