....And another question for the LCB think-tank!
This is addressed mainly to those of you who have fitted bike carbs to your 4 pot car engine. Has anyone successfully fitted an in-tank fuel pump, for
use with bike carbs? If so, which pump did you use?
My existing bike carb (external) pump can be fitted, but there will be no space for a filter. So an in-tank pump might be an option - maybe??
What ever you do , do not use this one: Huco pump
Bogg brothers laughed at it.It was pulsing fuel drops by drops. Well not drop by drop but little squirts at a time. What did instead of use standard
car fuel pump and put a regulator with a return feed.

Just get the pump off the bike that the carbs came off..
Only that newer fuel injected bikes have an infant pump.
Land rover do an in tank pump for the v8 with su carbs which will do the job and is very cheap as well.
Land rover prc7020
Google it....
Coozer, thanks for your very helpful advice.

That confirms one of those doubts I had pondered.
Thanks also, bikecarbfred, for the heads-up re Huco pump.
Why would there be no space for a filter with a bike carb pump?

Check out this pic.
Bike carb pumps are gravity fed (force pumps). Which means that the pump inlet has to be at the tank outlet level. On my car, there is very limited space, to keep pump inlet, tank outlet and in-line filter all on the same level.

Put the pump under the tank?

I mounted mine on the scuttle with no adverse effects.
I've had a couple of the Huco pumps with no problems.
Try a a zx6r carbed fuel pump. Has a 90 degree outlet - https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/RJwAAOSw7NNT4kEY/s-l300.jpg
