On my 4age, I running 40 DHLAs, I dont expect to put out any more than 140hp, BUT, I haven't run carbs on an engine for nearly 25 years, all
have been either TJ mechanical injection or Jenveys,
I would think the options on electric pumps is still basically the same, anything to avoid, or what is recommended
I've been running one of these on my 4.2 e type for 5 years or so with no problems:
MGB FUEL PUMP
Low pressure pump and fuel regulator to get pressure down to 3psi
I have a brand new fuel pump from car builder solutions if you want. I purchased it just for the hanger that it came with

it's that pump. But i basically wanted the hanger and the outlet for the tank.
Hi, Thanks for the offer, Im thinking that will struggle to run my carbs @3psi, not because it cant cope with the demands, but it will never get the fuel flow thru it to keep it cool and deliver warm fuel to the carbs as I am not running a return line
I run Delorto 45's with what is basically a high output electronic version of the Moggy 1000 pump.
No need for a regulator.
It ticks fast when filling the float chambers then slows to an occasional tick when they are full.
Can't really hear it once on the road, but then I have my own exhaust fitted.
I find it reassuring when I can hear something working.
