Hi all
I hope this help's you guy's when you come to space out your 2001 GSXR 750 tb's for a Duratec cylinder head you need 6 11mm spacers for
the outside ends and 3 16mm spacers for the middle and extend the linkages too.
Regards
Tony
Did you find a way around the tensioner clearance in the end?
Depends what manifold your using doesn't it?
Yes I did David I found a C Max idler pulley thats quite small, Ford parts uk website do them for around 30 quid and I will convert the alternator
bracket to an old school style tensioner.
Hows your engine swop going?
As for the manifold I am making my own so just wanted to clear the tps around the focus aux belt tensioner. Found a smaller idler pulley to give room
to the tps so that the tb's can aline up to the inlet ports on the head.
Tony.
Like this?

Still engine building at the moment, just waiting for some cam new cam buckets to arrive, after valve lapping I need 4 new ones to get everything back
in spec. Hopefully get the head back on this weekend then I can loosely get all the new timing gears.
Have you got any part numbers/photos of the st tensioner?
Here's a pic, you will see the runner on no1 is offset to miss the tps.

Yeah that's right but I want to avoid having to move or pull across no 1 tb for tps clearance, to keep the manifold runners all the same length
and angle in my opinion.
Thanks for the pictures.
Tony
Check flak monkeys build thread as he has a picture of one that I copied ages ago but forgot I had it. If you can't find it Iet me know.

Go to fordpartsuk website and search for C Max fan belt tensioner that should return the same one I found.
