What to do?

Folks, I've been trying to read up on my Pro-Alloy radiator.

Description
Description

Turns out it's an intercooler off a Caterham Levante , which would explain the Massive pipe diameters.

Could this be used as a water rad with a little adaptation or am I best to swap it out?

Regards Dan.

Any Ideas on what a custom (i.e. very narrow market) value for an intercooler could be.

Big thing that. Can see why it wouldnt be suitable as does a similar job but im sure someone more in the know will soon pop up and llet you know.

It can be used like that, but it won't work nearly as well as a purpose-designed radiator. The characteristics of water and air are completely different, and they need very different designs.

It'll make a great intercooler though
Good excuse to stick a turbo (or 2) on there

I've no idea what it'd be worth. If you're unsure on it's value I assume you either got it as a gift or found it on the street?

Bad dog, I've resisting that Idea for a while, I think an alloy clio rad may take it's place.

Your right, as for value. I thinnk it'll go back on the bay for a 1/3 of the price I payed £50 and see what happens. gotta be a nutter wanting to turbo their 7.

ATB Dan.
