Modified Plenum Chamber
phoenix70 - 6/11/04 at 07:41 PM

I'm using a 2.0L Pinto with injection, I plan to keep the injection system, but I believe that I will need to modify the Plenum chamber to fit it under the bonnet of my Indy.

Does anyone know where I can get the plenum chamber modified, preferably in Scotland.

Isn't that a little strange place to put the airflow meter ?

Mark Allanson - 6/11/04 at 11:08 PM

Why strange? With an engine bay this small, you have to use every available bit of space. If I drop a spanner, it NEVER hits the floor!!

and if it didn't go there, you'd be looking at new hoses, etc etc and then all the associated paraphenalia.

will the induction charge not be slightly warmed by drawing the air from on the exhaust manifold?

just a thought like
tom

"will the induction charge not be slightly warmed by drawing the air from on the exhaust manifold? "

Very probably, but it will pass the SVA as it is, then I can run a 2 1/2 inch ally pipe to the nose cone and pick up cold air from there
