Just tested my coil pack and have 1.4 and 1.8 ohms across each of the banks.
Is this acceptable or within tolerance. Should they be the same?
I should add the resistance is between pins 2&3 and 1&3 (left to right 1,2,3)
Thanks

after a bit of googling thought maybe I was measuring between the wrong pins
so using the centre pin (no 2) as the common, pin 1 is 34.6 and pin 3 was 31.5ohms.

Description
Looks like my second test was right but the values would indicate a faulty coil pack? Would you agree?
When coil packs cause a misfire it is usually because the HT insulation breaks down as the spark voltage demand rises under load.
The other coil/coil pack fault that used to be common in the days of points ignition but less so now is burn out of the primary wimdings due the
coil overheating usually due to the ignition being left on or running without a ballast.
If I'm running the HT leads close to one another is this likely to cause an insulation breakdown?
The symptoms have only started to occur since I've fitted this coil pack along with Megajolt. I didn't have this issue with the dizzy setup
(cutting out at high revs).
