Hi chaps
Recently i found that my starter motor (powerlite unit) had smashed its pinion gear in to 3 pcs! Unfortunately I didn't build the car so there we
were a little unsure as to the flywheel used. Anyway to ensure I was getting the correct replacement starter I thought it would be best to count the
amount of teeth on the flywheel. This turned out to 110 teeth. Unfortunately though while counting i found a tooth on the flywheel that had completely
sheared off! So at the moment I'm thinking the starter/flywheel combinations was incorrect. Would anyone know what flywheel would of had 110
teeth?
To add, the starter had a 10 tooth pinion.

Many thanks

Without knowing what engine it is, might be a bit difficult to answer!!
Quite right as well!

I'm just in the process of uploading a pic of the offending item so I'll have that up in the next few mins.
Cheers
