Trying to work out how to attack a pair of throttle cables to my xflow powered striker.
Running a pair of 40's and have managed to work out how to attach the cables using the linkage they came with at the carb end.
The bit I'm unsure about is how to attach the other ends to the throttle pedal.
The pedal has a small lobe at one end which sticks out but I can't work out how to attach the throttle cables.
Cheers
Chris

This is how I've attached the cables to the carbs. Hope this looks ok.

one way is to cut off the top pedal part and fit a pinch fit alloy block that has 2 cable fitting slots ( 2 holes thro block with slots the cable
width down to the holes. the holes are counter bored to hold cable end secure)
try a search on mk2 escort gp4 pedal block or similar.
you will need some slack at the pedal end of the cable in your last pic to get it mounted.

i will also add that on a previous car i had an issue with cables stretching due to angles at the pedal end.
i cured this by mounting the outer cable ( talking pedal end here) into a pivoting bar with a hole thro it for inner cable and counter bored to hold
outer sheath. again a slot to drop into the hole.
now when the pedal top moved in an ark as floored, the outer cable end swiveled to always be in line.
hope that makes sense.
