Evening all.
I'm struggling to find a part- I normally find in these situations that team locostbuilders are pretty handy!
I'm after a throttle ball as seen at the top of the pedal in this picture:
Throttle Ball
I think it's a Ford item but I'm not entirely sure. The ball measures 6.8mm across, which doesn't appear to be a common size, even when
converted to imperial- unless I'm being a bit simple, I'm not great with imperial to be honest. I would like to leave the existing one there
'just in case', whilst I add a new one further down to suit the GSXR TB's cable pull (25mm vs 70mm pedal).
Does anyone know where I could get one? There seems to be some options from American eBay, but it's quite expensive!
Thanks,
Craig
Is it similar to the item that boot lid gas struts attach to?
Will this sort of things do you?

Good thought about the gas strut mounts- I'll check the sizes on the daily drivers and/or head down a scrappy. Unusual size may be a problem but
definitely worth a shot! I'll email that ebay seller as well Pete- thanks.
Annoyingly I've just had a new throttle cable made with the same end that the original cable had on it, assumed I'd be able to get hold of
one! D'oh.... If I can't find anything suitable I suppose I could get the end changed. What is commonly used now? Would be nice to have
something that isn't going to be difficult to get parts for in the future!
Thanks
Came across this in the drawer, and remembered your thread, its an 8mm ball, any good??

If you give me r1's 8mm ball I could make it 7.
I altered my throttle pedal by cutting a section out and welding it back on at the required spacing.
