Buying a Duratec bellhousing
neilp1 - 7/5/11 at 08:19 PM

Well It's nearley time to dig deep and part with some hard earned cash on a Duratec to type 9 bellhousing. Now I've seen the one on Rally design website and find this the cheapest by quite a way. BUT has anyone on here used it if so, is it any good? If no one has used it which ones have you used and how easy to set up (hydraulic).

Cheers in advance,

Neil

Its the Titan one, and its fine. There are only a couple of people actually cast them anyway.

Here's the Titan Bell Housing with Titan Slave cylinder and Thrust Bearing.

To fit the Hydraulic cylinder you have to cut off the guide tube from the front of the type 9 to fit it and then measure up for a spacer to make sure the bearing pushes on the fingers of the clutch.

Takes a bit of time bit is straightforward.

Neil

Theres a bellhousing on Ebay at the moment.

It looks like the raceline bellhousing from the pictures, which I believe is the same one Flak used in his build.
