excuse the technical terms! at present i have a wee bit of hose, doubled back on itself with a bar clamp, but its not very tidy...
suggestions?
cut the tubes right back and insert a bolt with a jubilee clip tight round it?!
Ned.
Exactly as Ned says- except I coated the thread of the bolt in a waterproof silicon sealant first.
James
EDIT: I've used stainless bolts for this.

If you can get a end stop copper fitting or a piece of copper tune with the fitting soldered on and jubilee clip that works well. Get a Yorkshire fitting and it will have a ready made flange, paint it black job done.
It's called blanking in plumbing terms Jumpy. Doesn't have the same ring to it for a movie title though.
I'm fussy - I prefer to cap the outlets at source rather than stop end a hose. A little effort makes the job look so much better. Capping may
involve a plate, a threaded bung or welding. These are available to buy from motorsport manufacturers etc. but invariably you end up making your own
