It looks to me like the prop was too long and rubbed on the gearbox end till it made itself some space ?
It seems to be missing about 1/2 an inch.........must have been noisy to drive ?

The prop must have acted as a Lathe

Those locost inventions are a must.

The company that made the prop got it wrong.
The prop is the same size as the length i gave them,no space for the movement.
It didn't make alot of noise.
