Is there a difference between clutch release arms for 4 and 6 cylinder type 9 gearboxes? I have a V6 gearbox with a caterham spacer and a 4 cylinder bellhousing. I'm assuming that the V6 arm is different to take account of the longer input shaft? Now I've used the spacer, the input shaft is effectively the same length as a standard 4 cylinder one, so I think I need a 4 cylinder arm? If so, does anyone have one laying about that they can sell me?

There are at least 4 different arms for the type 9, the length, angle etc are all different. Luckily i found one with "sierra" writted on it from someone on here!

I have done the mod you are doing and yes the v6 arm is longer and won't fit the standard bellhousing, the standard arm is at a more shallow angle usually requiring the Capri release bearing carrier which is 8mm thicker.
I complicated it further by using an RS2000 bellhousing which needed the thinner Rs2000 release arm
