Type 9 release arm?
coozer - 10/11/09 at 02:23 PM

I'm getting ready to replace the type 9 cast iron bellhousing with an RS2000 ali job..

The type 9 release arm doesn't fit and I thought I'd just trim it down and weld back up, but... what the hell is it made off? Hacksaw justs slips off without making a mark...

Is it hardened and should I shell out the £40 for the correct one??

The RS2000 arn is also set at a different angle, I found an RS2000 arm at the Fords parts department in Chelmsford for £25 Rescued attachment DSCN0876m.jpg
