sump fitment

i have a 1.8 cvh engine that i,m about to install into my chassis but need to shorten the sump first,
was wondering if any other sumps will fit my engine?
are there any that can be bought pre made?

I don't think you will get a ready made short sump.
The 1.8 is dead easy to shorten if you have access to a Mig.

I just cut 50mm out of mine and welded the bottom back on.

Keep meaning to do mine.
- Have built up a bit of an collection of sump photos of how people have built out to retain the capacity while shortening it.

Although you may not be too fussed about that depending on you plans.

Mines silly-low to the floor.

CVH sump for Zetec
CVH sump for Zetec

It's a CVH sump fitted to our Zetec, we have an ally zetec sump off being chopped by Deneo so it'll be surplus to requirements in a week or 2 if anyone thinks it'll be useful for their Zetec/CVH...
