Probably a simple (stupid) question but this zetec stuff is new to me.... can I use the blanked off hole to the left of the oil pressure sensor on a
blacktop for another sensor?

Try removing the plug and the pressure switch , then blow through one to check if they are connected. If they are and you can get a sensor in without bottoming then you are probably OK. It may be that the blocked off plug is a water drain?
I've had one or 2 pressure sensors fail when attached directly to the block.
I now run a hose from the block mounting to a T piece which has the pressure switch and pressure sensor.
Note that a number of pressure senders also have a low pressure switch built-in (hence 2 terminals on the top) so only the sender is required
Yes, you can put a pressure sensor in there, I've also seen it used for turbo oil feed.
That's a clean blacktop!

Thats where my oil pressure sensor is, and it works.
Cool, thanks chaps.
I already have a combined pressure and temp sender to go in one, but want a dedicated pressure light switch for the other.
Don't really want to have the sender on a hose as it introduces a failure point in the oil system (seen a surprising amount of oil lines let go
at various races over the last few years) - I'm going to make a bracket to support the sender instead.
