Saw this sign this afternoon
Next to some easy to climb rocks.
Made me smile, and remember some of the 'angle grinder bit me' threads.
Description
Bonus points for anyone who can identify the location (closer than Beijing )

Correct! right at the back of it in the garden area. Thats one of the more sensible signs in China, a lot of them would have your sides literally
splitting
"oh dear..." said god,
"I hadn't thought of that"
and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic

it might be typical chinglish but it does sound like a wise saying!
You have to bear in mind that there are more chinese people speaking english as a second language than there are english speaking english as a first
language!

They might (probably do) have the same sign, but tweek and AndyW are 100% correct it was taken in the Imperial Garden of the Forbidden city right at
the back by the 'mountain'.

This was a sign in the yuyuan gardens - not as funny as yours though it was on a gate.
This one was just off the great wall of china - i did what i was told and put my skates on!!!!
And this one in a youth hostel was simply wrong!
