don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Anything specific you want? I'll look it up and post the info here if you like

it was really all the engine stuff i was after, for diagrams mostly don't worry. thanks anyway though
i'm trying to work out what of the egr stuff i can remove, and where i can blank thinks off.

like can the bit where the coil mounts onto be removed entirely, or is that part of the cooling system.

cool! what i'll do is take pictures of the bits i'm asking about on mine, and then you'll know what bits i mean.

as for the exhaust, yeah, off the engine is fine, i'm thinking about how the manifold flange is done etc, whether to do a 4-2-1 or a 4-1 design etc

Mine is a 4-1, i know Redtops prefer a 4-2-1 design but not too sure about Ecotecs

the final desing really comes down to the space i have available. it has to go down the tunnel... but for now, i'm only thinking about the actual header design

I can't get my head round this picture posting,
anyway your coil goes where the four screws are in the photo(but you knew that) as for the EGR valve i thought you would ask about that, mine has plugs in the holes,( i wouldn't be keen on cutting that area off as it feeds the head with water from the tank) i think i have managed to get the pictures into my archive, if not u2u me your email and i will send photos that way, at least i can do that.

i wasn't sure if i could unbolt it and blank it off (that whole alloy bracket makes it hard to lower the engine in...) the water take off only seems to be to go to the heater i'm told, so guessed the head would still flow water around it if i removed blanked that off. but the water temp sensor's in there...

i've made a little ali plate to bolt over the 2 holes where the EGR valve was. so that ok.
thanks for the photos though!
