SORN or not?
I have bought a salvabe cat D repairable car to repair and sell on.
It has come with part of the log book.
It is going to take me a couple of months to repair it and i dont want o get hit with the 80 quid fine for not registering it sorn.
I will be applying for the logbook in my name asap.
Is there any way i can check to see if the vehicle is registered Sorn already?
Thanks
ATB

Your vehicle is NOT SORN'ed. However, you only become liable for the vehicle once the V5 has your name on it. As soon as you have the docs,
register it SORN or take the bit of the V5 you have to the PO and get a receipt for SORN.
