job today

went to a job this morning, the guy had, quite literally, 200 ex army landrovers in his garden/yard, and more inside a building. Quite phenominal, i was a bit blown away to be honest! Imagine being a fan of them and having that many to play with! Not a word of a lie, ive just counted 200 on google earth.

simply...why???? I have a friend that owns over 30 cars and not one of them is fit for the road, he even bought 2 of mine, god knows why. He's always complaining about the SORN's so the DVLA must love that guy! 200 landy's quite crazy.

contract work so was already booked and paid for, its nearly finished now. Turns out he's got rid of most of the ones over the road, only about a hundred left! He sells them for spares i think, had a nice looking one being fixed on the ramps too. Big company i believe, he certainly seems to be doing well.

There's a bloke who buys all the ex military stuff and breaks or reconditions it, he then sells it back to them or to overseas customers. He is a millionaire off the back of it and employs a few people now to keep pace with it. It was on the bbc site a few months ago.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
