What have I done wrong?

Tried to change my avatar and made a pills of it.
Highlighted the avatar URL in my control panel and deleted it.
Uploaded new avatar into my photo archive.
Clicked on properties and Control+C'd the URL
Clicked onto the avatar space in control panel and Control+V and nothing.
Why won't it let me paste the new URL?
Help!

SORTED! THANKS TO ALL!

Or...open avatar pic in your archive,

right click on pic and choose 'copy image location'

go into your control panel

in the avatar section of edit profile,

right click in 'box' and choose paste.......

If you have to have the Nun one...

open it up in your archive, right click the pic, go down to properties, highlight all of the url, right click and copy.
go into control panel and right click in avatar, and paste - should be there..

Story of my life! I'd probably have been an emigrant but I missed the boat.

Still can't replace my avatar though.
Right click on the pic gives me an option to 'copy' not to 'copy image location' and right clicking on the avatar space on my control panel doesn't give me an option to 'paste'.

Works right up to right click in avatar. When I do that the 'paste option is not available.

Thanks for all the suggestions though.

right, well if it works up until then, you maybe haven't copied it correctly. If you have copied it correctly try it again and use your prev go of the "Ctrl + V" Keys...

It really should work

If not just copy this and paste it in there

I have tried all that.
When I get into the control panel, if I left click in the avatar panel once, nothing happens, if I left click twice, the little vertical line appears to indicate that is where it will paste but when I right click to paste, the paste option is not available.

You could give me your password

But you can also "just write" instead of clicking or ctrl+v.

Are yoy in "edit profil"?
