Local council are up in arms about this. One of the "New" villages is just NW of Cambridge. The council have already stated its Eco firendly, etc etc.
They said on TV this evening that Gordy Brown, is jumping on the bandwagon, and putting a spin on what has already been decided.

ie its nothing new. He is just using it to promote himself.

Oh Dear.... but what else would we expect from a politician.

Theres already a load of unexploded bombs been discovered on the Oakington sight, may not need to nuke them. Would be better if they sorted out the A14 before they build any new houses, it'll be an absolute nightmare on the stretch just north of Cambridge if they don't

I think I'm going to get Kent devolved from the rest of the UK.

Then I can run it like a small fruit republic.

Oh yeah, and do a Ken and charge everyone who wants to go to the ports

What's the emissions like on one of those things? Hopefully they'll find a newt living there and have to cancel the plan

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i read the other day about a nuclear plant that had the decomissioning halted because they found bats living there - the most common type of bat, but work was halted for several months... muppets.

I'll give Gordon my support.
He is the best chancellor we've had for ages. Best of luck to the fella!

... but that does no necessarily mean he is the best person for the front man of the party?

Sitting in an office pushing buttons on a calculator and typing figure in excel spreadshit isn't quite the same job as being a smarmy get in front of the TV cameras.

He's managed to get more taxes past us without us noticing you mean. None of them are in it for our benefit, they have a pension scheme you could only dream of, expenses for accommodation and vote for their own pay rises. Sorry to be a cynic but the man in the middle is going to be a target for whichever party gets to run the shop.
