Socks
Not sure if you really want to hear this, but.......
Over the past few months, as my everyday, regulation, dark coloured, ankle socks which I wear for work, get replaced, I have realised that the new
ones seem to use some form of new mega super elastic around the tops.
These socks strangle my feet and at the end of the day I have grooves around my ankles which itch as the blood rushes back to my feet when i take them
off.
Now I know I'm not the slimmest bloke in the world but my ankles are about regulation size I would have thought.
I've never had a problem finding socks before - is this just me or has anyone else noticed this?
Mark

Put them on a hot wash that'll soon knacker the elastic

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You can tell it's the middle of spring and pi$$ing it down outside when a car forum is talking about socks + matalan
I'm waiting for it to stop raining so I can try my oh so dubious DIY windscreen repair crack... Apparently it's UV activated so you need
to do the repair inside then take the car outside for 5-10min to let it cure.....
At some point I also need to plant my Parnsip seeds but its too bloody wet to go out into the garden.... Oh well, at least I've got my Dorset
Naga chilli seeds in their seed trays (hottest chilli in the world)....

It's almost certainly nothing to worry about, but next time you visit the quacks just mention it. If fluid is building up around the ankles
during the day it can be an indicator of other problems

True, though with my quack hat on I'd say if it only happens with a particular type of sock its more likely to be a problem with the sock than
the legs or the bits attached to them!!!

Ok I was getting worried for a minute there
Yes it's only these new ones with the mega elastic that cause the problems - the old ones are fine I 'll have a look in M+S etc as
suggested.
For everyones information these new ones are from Next although previous ones from there have been ok. I also have some from M+S which have the new
stuff in and some which don't and are ok.
I just think most of you lot never buy new socks and darn them in true locost fashion which is why you haven't come across this issue.

of socks in the UK, You know, just in the interests of balance.

And another thing.
I only ever buy black socks so it doesn't matter if I get a pair that are not quite a pair if you know what I mean, but 5 or 6 weeks later I
have an odd blue one appear in the drawer Someone is messing with my head.
