I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

In order to turn left at the junction, all the traffic doing that is in the far right hand lane. That's a bit odd, having to get in the right hand lane to turn left....

Cheers
Andy

I hope that's a one way street that those cars are turning into?

Seems strange going from the right side of the road to the left on the side turn.

Mind you, I spent some time in Beijing and came to the conclusion that there were no rules of the road.

Used the super cheap micro taxies to get around. Great fun with the driver locked away in a mug proof enclosure!!

Hope your having fun

Mike

the cars coming from the street at the top of the picture are turning right, into the oncoming path(well into one lane) of the cars going left to right????

Are you in Melbourne?

I believe Melbourne has junctions where you stop in the left lane to go right.

Oh, have I got that the wrong way round (are yours in the right lane to go left?).

Oh well, forget that then.......

Melbourne does indeed have so-called "box turns" where you wait in the kerb side (left) lane for a right turn across. These exist because there are trams running down the middle of the road and vehicles queuing in a centre turning lane get in the way.

for me thats a normal LHD

situation

cars are on the right side of the road.

if we don´t look at the strange lights sweep i cant see anything wich sis strange...

if it is that and in case you are in an RHD country then i don´t untherstand wy the people wo want to turn left don´t put their cars on the left part of that stroke(making a smaller bend) in that way the rest of the traffic could go forward and doesn´t need to wait for the others to complete their turn to the left.

in fact the upper ones who would like to TURN to the right (left street on pic) could do that simultanously..

Tks

p.d. Where the hell are you
