Not sure about the rear end shape either, it never fails to amaze me how many potentially good body designs are spoiled by the arse end, its as if the
designers do all the hard work then think
'aw sod it, stick the kettle on, lets just make it flat, no one will notice, its only the back end.' shame really, as thats the bit you
want people to see most

Its got some tough competition at that starting price of £25,000,lotus elise,rx7,s2000,etc,also at +600kgs for a busa is a bit on the heavy side, add a
tank of fuel and 2 people, your over 800kgs,and you would think with a blank canvas to work with they could build in some better lights than these
from the back end of a bus

And good god, what went through their heads as they sprayed over that welding?! Its laughable!
Nice roof though.

Hmm, a telling lack of progress really!
Still no number plates on it, so it doesn't look like it's troubled an SVA Station or the DVLA yet!
http://www.zolfe.com/Index.htm
Their website was last updated "Site currently in development - Last updated 27th January 2006" So nothing has changed in the last 12
months.
The news page is just as bad "Press Release Dated Jan 12 2006"
Plus any company that has spent that much money developing a car, but can't be arsed to trailer it to a decent location to take their publicity
shots, but instead just roll it outside their lockup on an industrial estate. Much better to take them at a track, that way it actually looks like it
might go, one day.
I bet they pitch up to Autosports with the same car. Wonder if the welding has improved.
As Ian suggests they won't sell many, being to much of a compromise in nearly all aspects.
All IMHO!

My missus wants one of them, just a shame I want the money for a turbo! Or a GD T70, or something else with a filthy great V8.

For £25K I would look elsewhere although I think the powerplant (V6) is spot on
If they sort out the abominable welding and get a little restyling done (back is just damn fugly) they could be on to a winner. Trouble is there are a
lot of similar cars out there although a hard top is rare ......... unless you have an Aeon

Raz

That zolfe front end is similar to the sort of thing we are planning to carve onto the front of the Storm.
That is pi55 poor welding though, i'm VERY happy to say we do a much better job than that.

That welding just shows a rush job and a lack off interest from the builder.
Ok the welding is hopeless, but if they really cared they would have ground it down smooth. Yip that's bus lights alright, then again I have
seen F40 lights on buses also!
