a “technical problem"
On the way back from the Spa 24 hour race, we were booked on the 8 pm Just before we were about to leave the port the captain said there was a
“technical problem” which caused a 6 hour delay.

That was on the BBC news site and is in today's "SUN"which is very similar to the snu
