Small electric car for the kids :)

I built a small electric car for my kids. It is powerd by an Sierra wiper motor and an led battery (12 ah). It works surprisingly well.

Great job!

I would suggest some safety guards over that drive belt, knowing what kids are like...

Out of curiosity, how long does the battery last?

Brakes?

What for? with the wiper motor it goes forwards then reverses on the return sweep

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I plan to use the front wheel brakes from the bike who donate the rear wheels. It's not a big problem, the car goes fairly slow and there are no hills around here.

I need to construct some kind of safety guard over the chain.

I don't know how long the battery last yet.
