It's a 2002 TS - one of the last before the JTS came out. All electrics work apart from the remote locking - the price reflected this though!
Having a new cambelt and service before I pick it up.
TBH I was expecting loads of replies re unreliability etc, but a very pleasing response. I didn't go into this blind, I joined a few Alfa forums and did loads of research, so I know what I'm getting myself into

Cracking car.

I had a 2.4 JTD , which spent more time in the garage than on the road, mostly having turbo's replaced (x5 under warranty). Even with all the problems, i loved it. Racked up 147k miles in it.

Beautiful car... shame about the reliability/build quality. Typically Italian...

Gonna change my user name to Mario and start eating lots of pasta!
Done the Alfa trick of paying a grand less than you'd expect, then keep that in a seperate bank account for repairs

Mookaloid - I'm not copying, honest (yours ain't a 156 though is it?). It's just that I'm going to be hillclimbing the locost next year too, so I'll see you around!
