GT40 chassis are made of real steel --- must have been a "high energy event" :-)

180mph allegedly how much does a real GT40 weigh? We can then work out how much energy was involved.

180 mph = 80.4672 meters per second (according to google convert)
So energy was:
E = 0.5 * m * v^2
= 0.5 * 1121 * 6475
= 3629237.5
So Roughly 3.5 million joules
