What do you think it was?
I was up near Manchester airport this morning and the coach I was on was following a little British racing green car that looked like a MG Midget from
behind and a Triumph Spitfire from the front, Anyone know what it could of been?

Maybe a midget with a sebring bonnet (or one of the many other f/g bonnets you can/could get with names like monza, ashley, lenham).
Something like one of these?

Not sure how a mini marcos could be described as a midget rear or spitfire front end Ned...

and I find it hard to believe they've put them back into production...
Although I have always fancied one for a laugh...

It definatley was not a marcos, In My garage days I have worked on all the old little sporty jobs "poxy things"and the rear of this was
definatley Midgety.
It was open top and as we overtook it I had a "what the" moment and it has been bugging me since. Oh well perhaps someone else in the
Manchester area will spot it.
