uploading pics

hi when I tried to put a pic in a post the other day It just put the red cross there

I presumed you copied the web address from my loaded pic in the photo archive as the URL


but this didnt work>

You need to use img tags to include a picture in a post.

it should look like this but I've put a couple of spaces in the IMG tag so you can see how it's formatted
[ IMG]http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y58/chockymonster/haynes.jpg[/IMG ]

Without the spaces you get this.

it already puts the IMG when you send the URL to the post

ie so you clickinsert image the little icon above your typing box then you copy and paste the photo archive address?

No....this creates a link to the page to show the photo - not the photo itself.

There is a text string UNDER the photo that shows you what you should be using to embed it into a post...
