As for tyres, Toyo T1-S or Goodyear F1's or if you want semi slick road leagal the Toyo R888's

Contact Steve Turner - TADLtd on here. See what wheels and tyres he has on offer. He did us a great deal on a set of Compomotive CXR's with Toyo
R888 tyres.

John, 13 1/2 lbs each roughly. I weighed them on the kitchen scales which are not 100% acurate.

I went for:
[195/50/15]
TSW Lightning - £140 set (midland wheels)
Toyo Proxes T1-s - £140 set (wheelbase)
Wheel = 6kg
Tyre = 7.5 Kg
Good value for money and look lovely I think
*Edited to correct weight of tyres*

what finish are your pro race 1.2s donut?
in your other post they looked gloss black, but in the above they look anthracite.
i quite like them in anthracite, if it's not just a trick of the light, but didn't know they did them in that finish.

I've got a set of 7x17" alloys, look very similar to Team Dynamics Phatoms (see pic) but badged something different that I can't
remember exactly. Brand spanking new, still in the boxes.
I snapped them up cheap last year to go on my Viento but I've decided I'd rather have Escort Cossie rims!
Would let them go for £200 (wheels only - I have no tyres)

Nicest wheels I have seen are these:
Wolfrace Street Octane. Think there are a couple of people on here with them.

a set of 15's pro race 1.2's fitted with toyo t1r tyres in 195/50/15 weigh approx 58kgs per set
Chris
Oops, yeh just re did them, I was talking b0ll0cks.
Tyre = 7.5Kg
It was my inability to add and subtract
Bathroom scales, so slight innacuracies.
