st/st chassis

had to widen bottom rail to get room for starter motor, put weld under engine mount for extra strength. Rescued attachment P1010054.JPG

Pretty slick work, less than an hour! It takes most of us months to get that far.

you probably know you're missing on of the braces in the engine bay, are you planning on adding any? Apparently this is one of the twistiest area of the whole chassis.

chassis brace

Still got to finish braces and rear top of chassis, but just had to get it going, so i put it together. Planning on finishing chassis in next two weeks.

I think you will need a bit of bracing from the top bar that holds the steering column down to the chassis as it will flex as it is.

Pat, that's similar to the way I did mine, the column acts as the third point in the system, so very little flex.

Mine to, but if I wiggle the wheel up/down, the top bar flexes a bit so I put two braces in place.

Might be better made than mine though
