Drove one until about 3 weeks ago - covered 33,000 miles all in. Very grunty indeed. They are certainly well made bits of kit, that's for sure.

Enjoy

EDIT: Old Man!

[Edited on 5/7/05 by Mr G]

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Amazing the way they hold together even at massive mileages, the interiors and paint work can look as new at 200k miles.

Im pleased with it. Saved me money on fuel already. Tempted to get it chipped to 130 though. I thought id miss the pokeyness of my zetec-s fiesta but this is still quite nippy for a big car. 25mpg from my z-s and 55 from this really makes me miss it. I dont think so.

Ive been holding money back for new car. Now its got the locost will be able to have more money put in.

Cheers for your comments chaps i was expecting to be called an old man. Especially as im only 23

I went down from 158bhp in the Rover 623 to 120 bhp in the Rover 75 and don't actually miss the power, it is quite actually nice to be able to floor the throttle in the bootom 3 gears without lighting up the front tyres.

ahhh, the wonders of front wheel drive. After my 205 GTI I vowed (and will stick to it!) NEVER to own another front wheel drive daily driver.

Makes getting a runabout a bit trickier nowadays but hey ho.
