Allow me to introduce myself....
Some time ago I was asking silly questions about diffs and GRP moulding, well this was the reason...
The big fella was completed for a new year fancy dress party and performed beatifully as I drove him into town with the Dr Who theme playing on the on
board sound system. Actually had a copper pull up and shout somthing at me. I just flicked on the 'headlamp' and 'hazards' (ears
are fitted with strobes) explained that world domination cannot wait and trundled off!
Anyway he has to be sold 'cos he takes up a lot of room and he is even less pactical than the kit car. err OK thats not true, has about the same
range and you stay dry in the Dalek.
Going onto Ebay and try and cash in on the new series hype.

I've gone mad...
I've bid £11 on it. What's the range in case it has to be driven home?
edit :- I just wanted to see "you are currently the high bidder" on it.

Hey Pete,
Your bid is a contract, if no-one else bids how you gonna explain to the missus that you have bought a Dalek
John
Should make it to your place with a charging stop in Mansfield....

It's still in my watching section, I'll keep an eye on it. If it keeps going up like this you'll be able to pay someone to do your
next years costume.

contact the bbc web site or your local bbc radio or tv station.
they would love to run a story on it - it promotes their series, and your value would leap up

Especially with all the Dr Who malarky going on, cannot watch bbc 2 at the mo without some form of Dr Who invading. They making a new film or
something??

I don't think the BBC will be pleased , they'll want royalties.
The latest copy of the Radio Times is full of ads. for Dr. Who merchandise.

Looks like the next cars on the highest bidder

i doubt they would be that pedantic - its all good advertising! anyway, the BBC dont own the rights to the darleks - there was some discussion that
they couldnt use them cos they belonged to the estate of terry nation.

Looks Like I got the timing spot on.
Thanks for the promo work Mr Gusto,
It was mentioned on Radio 2....
76 watchers and an off auction offer of £1000.
Strange really since I only built it 'cos I'd finished the car and wanted a small project to keep me interested and I had aquired a
moblity scooter. Returns a better profit percentage than Locosts
Didn't expect this sort of response at all, but not complaining, nice for a hobby not to cost you money.
John.
