damn those sets are so damn cool!!!

Too bad they are really pricy over here. I wanted the Mercades DTM car but it was about $80!

Best thing to do for a build....
Ditch the wife!

I boarded out the loft for mine.
Too warm in the summer, too cold in winter.
But lots of space and cobwebs.
Lots of fun! and the cat can't get up the loft ladder.

When space ran out in the living room, The stairs in my house got converted to a scalextric hill climb.

To stop it slidding down the stairs the bottom end of the track rested against the front door.

The best bit was if the cars made it to the end, you could see how far the could fly allong the landing.

Needless to say the track didn't last long, but good fun whalst it did.

Still have one of the Caterham boxed sets.

SWMBO got tired of it around the house after one day and it was consigned to storage. Been there ever since.

Supposedly now a collectors item as they don't make them now.

In't it just great... I think mine is due for an airing, now my heating/water is fixed (two weeks of freezing washes)!
