Clutch slip.

"What happened. Ya break an axle?"
"No, I think the clutch is slipping."
"Want a tow back?"
"Yeah, thanks."
"Your chain looks a bit slack."
"Is it!"
"When was the last time you looked at it?"
"Holy SHIT!"

The local bike shop used to keep a few bits of interesting kit to amuse customers while they were waiting or browsing, burnt pistons, bent conrods etc. My favouirite was a rear sprocket which someone had recut with a hacksaw , very badly. A new one was only about £10 at the time and it must have cost him that in blades.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

hehe ,seen a few of those in the past.
and along the sime sort of thing
i used to tell people every day not to tighten up there chains so tight and that its better to run a little slack ,one day a bloke came into the work shop complaining that his rear suspension had seized, went outside to have a look and found that one of his m8's had adjusted his chain that tight it wasnt allowing the swinging arm to move at all
